Budj, Trese really is turning into your forte! Great stuff. You MUST gather all these stories into a printed compilation someday. And continue the series even after your original 13 issue run. ^_^
ReplyDeleteSimply...you and Ka-jo have made another winner. Winner ang Trese!
ReplyDeleteHey guys!
ReplyDeleteThanks very much for the kind words. Glad you're still enjoying the ride. Definitely, me and Kajo are excited everytime Alexandra and the Kambal take us down the dark streets of their Manila.

Wow. After reading Arnold's Andong Agimat, I get treated to this beautiful tale of magical Filipino superfantasy. You guys continue to inspire me.
ReplyDeleteA few questions... did Guerrero just touch evidence with his bare hands in Page 02? Page 15, "several boyfriends laterS" - intentional? Anyway, love the not-so-veiled references! And "HEATHER came here to meet NOVA". You're having FUN, aren't you?
More of this, please. More stories. More wonder. More magic.
hi mr. zach, carver and mad
ReplyDeleteguerrero 's wearing a glove. i just didn't draw it properly.palpak ko, and sorry 'bout the typos, i corrected them for the dead tree edition.
thank you.
kajo
lapped every page and loved it!
ReplyDelete... not new anyway.
Talaga... naka-gloves si Guerrero?
ReplyDeletehehehe
I thought since this is the Philippines, Guerrero wasn't the type that would don latex gloves and use tweezers. Hahaha!
But yes, as Kajo said, he's really wearing very, very thin gloves.
Hi Zach and Rey, glad you guys liked it. :)
Wow! I love your comics! These are really nice! I just found out about this on Jobert's blog. Link kita! yay!
ReplyDeletebtw, some people have emailed me and said that the link to Page 4&5 wasn't working. In case it's still acting wonky, here's the link:

Hi Luis,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful words about TRESE. Glad you like the book.
So sorry to tell you that we're not yet distributing outside of the Philippines.
We will make the comic books available by mid-November in certain comic book stores in Manila. Will announce it here as soon as things are finalized.
Maybe you can ask the stores owners there to check out TRESE and ask if it's something they're willing to order.
Thanks again!

ReplyDeleteMr. Budjette Tan and Mr. Kajo Baldisimo:
ReplyDeleteThank you for signing the Trese Book three preview given to me by the Visprint staff yesterday.
Had I known that you will attend the Book Fair in SMX I would have brought with me my two Trese books.
I will soon e-mail you for a possible feature story that I will propose to our paper's editors.
More power! We want more OF Trese!
A. Romero
